Our Story - Who We Are & Why We're Here
Founded in 2025 in Gurgaon, EnDecarb.ai was born from a shared mission to make climate intelligence measurable, actionable, and accessible for every enterprise and financial institution. As the urgency for transparent ESG reporting and climate accountability grows, we witnessed institutions struggling with fragmented data, complex reporting structures, and limited visibility into financed emissions and climate risks. Existing tools were often compliance-heavy or insight-light, leaving decision-makers without the precision needed to act effectively.
We built EnDecarb.ai to bridge that gap by uniting GHG accounting, financed emissions measurement, climate risk modeling, and stress testing into one intelligent, audit-ready platform. Our system integrates AI-driven automation, decarbonization simulation, and XBRL-compatible reporting, ensuring accuracy, speed, and transparency across sustainability journeys.

With a background in engineering and work across top organizations, he builds impactful, real-world solutions. He’s passionate about just transitions and driving practical climate action.

At EnDecarb.ai, Ankit leads client delivery and product strategy, ensuring solutions create real environmental impact. With a background in Environment & Resource Economics, he brings ESG experience from firms like Grant Thornton and Sustainalytics. He’s led projects across sectors and believes data-driven decisions can drive meaningful climate action. Outside work, he’s a cricket fan who enjoys nature and mindful living.
Advisor
Dr. Gopal Sarangi is Associate Professor and Head of Policy & Management Studies at TERI SAS, with 24+ years of experience in energy policy, regulation, and sustainability. He has led projects with the World Bank, UNDP, and the Indian government, and serves as an Independent Director at UGVCL. His research focuses on clean energy, green finance, and carbon markets, contributing actively to national energy policy.
